My Gmail page

Gmail

I take pleasure in guiding my friends on managing gmail. See how my gmail looks. I take pride in keeping it beautiful and simple. As soon as I receive the incoming mail, I first label it and then archive it. This keeps my inbox empty and clean. Moreover, it is easy to manage my mails. To search the mail, I either use "search Mail" option or labels.

BTW, the theme that I am using now using is "turf". Quite beautiful -- isn't it?

Google Fast Flip is amazing

Google_fast_flip_1253170884844

Thanks to Google Fast Flip, people can now read more news published in the print media. There were many debates on how Google would affect the print media because of its news aggregation services. I always thought google was right in what it had been doing. My reasoning was that the print media had its own constraints in reaching general audience, especially online audience. And, what google did was that it gave the print media the much needed exposure to worldwide online readers. From the business perspective, it only required a win-win revenue sharing plan.

Now, Google Fast Flip seems to have provided that mutually acceptable revenue sharing model to both Google and print media. Gauging by the immediate response it recieved online, I have no doubt that it will be a great success. The people interested in updating of current events find this tool very useful as it not only provides write-ups on wide range of subjects but also saves precious time. I have been a great fan of Google Reader and I feel that now I have to plan some of my reading time flipping past the write-ups provided by Fast Flip. I wish Google includes a few of magazines from India as well very soon.

Here is an interesting post on Fast Flip

My First Blog Post to Posterous

Hs_1280x1024
It has been nearly more than a year that I stopped blogging.  I don’t know why I lost my interest so suddenly. Many of my attempts to post blogs these days proved futile. As I think of the reasons for this hiatus, my mind comes with several lame excuses, which after some rethinking look unreasonable to me. Recently, I received a direct message from my former colleague in Twitter. That message reinvigorated my interest towards twitter after a long gap. Not only posting to twitter but also following twitter messages of some celebrities and bloggers has become favorite pastime these days. That’s how I got reconnected to my former blog friends like Goutham Ghosh and Dinesh Babu. I saw my fellow bloggers posting their blogs via multiple platforms such as Posterous and providing the link to it via twitter. This definitely has provided a fresh impetus to blogging and online communications, taking them to the next level. That’s when I decided to join Posterous. Hope this revives my lost interest in blogging.  I plan to post at least three posts every week from now on.Wish me all the best.

You can also follow me at my twitter and my blog.
